Professional development is crucial for lifeguards to stay up-to-date with the latest safety and rescue techniques, improve communication skills, and ensure they can provide effective supervision and risk management, ultimately leading to safer aquatic facilities.
The GSPO states that lifeguards should undertake regular training and professional development to maintain and improve their skills, knowledge, and abilities.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to all students that complete the online and face-to-face learning requirements.
